I totally prefer Galentines! Much less pressure and a lot more cheesy fun :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer Valentine's... I'm a bit of my traditionalist :) love my hubby... Going on 9 years married! He supports all my crazy sewing adventures!
ReplyDeleteGalentines for sure ! But both are pretty
ReplyDeleteWhile I love the valentines skirt/crop combo I'm definitely not as brave as you so I'd say Galentines for sure - that and I'm a closet goth so pink is WAY out of my comfort zone. You, of course, look stunnin' in both!
ReplyDeleteI'm celebrated both this year! Do I have to pick a fave? I've never been a Valentine's hater. I love pink and flowers and candy, what can I say. Really enjoying your blog.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first year I get to celebrate Valentine's with someone I love, in the past it's always been the end of a relationship, between relationships or long-distance, so this year it's Valentine's, but nothing fancy! Normally definitely a Galentine's girl :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Galentine's! There's less pressure than gifting for/surprising a significant other for Valentine's Day, and it's nice to thank your girlfriends for being there for ya, and avoid taking 'em for granted.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 500! I'm one of the new additions to your followers and am enjoying your blog and sewing style! Thanks for being a fun source of inspiration. :)
I love Valentines!! But I vividly remember before I met my husband that it isn't as fun when your single.
ReplyDeleteI've never been much for celebrating valentines or galentines but they both can be fun! Congrats on 500 followers, I feel like it wasn't too long ago when you were celebrating 100!
ReplyDeleteValentines for sure! With something pink or red probably!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for the 500! :)
Valentine's my favourite. Congratulations on reaching 500 followers!
ReplyDeleteGalentines! I did google what it meant. Congratulations on the 500!
ReplyDeleteBoth! I have never heard of Galentine's Day, but it sounds fabulous. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm too lazy to celebrate either, heh!
ReplyDeleteGalentine's is my favorite. It usually involves a lot of sour beers, delicious nosh, and a funny movie!
ReplyDeleteI reckon Galentines sounds like a better holiday, but I don't really celebrate either - I asked a few of my gal pals and they aren't celebrating either. Maybe we're just sad people, but hey what can you do :-)
ReplyDeleteI've never thought to do a galentine's, but it sounds fun! My tradition is to buy my partner a cheeky card - none of that mushy poetry stuff here!
ReplyDeleteI like the gifts of Valentine's and the idea of Galentine's
ReplyDeleteWell done on the bloglovin followers :) I have really been enjoying reading you blog, so I'm not surprised you are doing so well. I think your Galentines outfit is awesome! Love those trousers!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! 500 followers is great!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love Valentine's day - for the candy. I love the strawberry cream hearts far more than I should.

ReplyDeleteI love Valentine's day!! I am a little more traditional and have always thought Valentine's can be anyone I love!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 500 followers! Blog looks wonderful and your sewing skills grow with each make.
ReplyDeleteI love both of these looks! I prefer Valentine's, but only because it's my birthday and I get double presents from my hubby ;)
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing your pink coat on social media so I had to come see what all the fuss was about :-) Consider me here to stay!
ReplyDeleteTotally Galentines! I'm married, we celebrate daily.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun Galentimes ! 😀
ReplyDeleteEither!
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer galantines!
ReplyDeleteGalentines! The girls deserve more love!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never celebrated Galentines, not sure if it has reached the UK yet, but I love the concept so I'm going to vote for it!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. - congratulations on reaching 500 followers, you have a great blog and make really beautiful things, so I'm not surprised :)
ReplyDeleteI'm having a hearts and crafts party, so I'll go with galentines
ReplyDeleteGalentine's !!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHaving never, ever had a date (or even a special someone!) on Valentine's, and being very, very single right now, I think I'm gonna have to go with Galentine's ;)
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about either is the sweets and cake, so it doesn't matter!
ReplyDeleteGalentine's is my favorite.

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Galentines before, just googled it and it sounds awesome!! Definitely Galentines day!
ReplyDeletemy husband is always away for valentines so galentines is the winner for me!
ReplyDeleteHas to be galentines, I've never been a fan of valentines and my husbands the same. In the 10 years we've been together we've made a point of celebrating the dates that matter to us, not the arbitrary ones. Having said that back when I was a student I always used to celebrate with my friends and had a great time.
ReplyDeleteI love them both!!
ReplyDeleteI'm more partial to valentine's day...though I do love my gals!
ReplyDeleteI like Galentine's Day (and-or Palentine's for mixed b&g! Though it's a little similar to Palestine in name). However, this is the third and final year of being across an ocean from my fellow, so next year I might change my mind. : ) Though if we're picking an outfit, Galentine's all the way!!
ReplyDeleteI love Valentines Day! We don't celebrate our wedding anniversary as it is 2 weeks either side of both mine and my husbands birthdays. So we use Valentines as our surrogate wedding anniversary. But I also love to shower my friends with love so I am adopting galentines for next year. I had never heard of it till this year!
